Principal Kwan Shan has extensive experience in school administration and management. She holds a Master’s degree in Literature (Early Childhood Education) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Master’s in Social Science (Counseling) from City University of Hong Kong, a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Kindergarten Principal Certificate, and an Early Childhood Education Certificate. She is a certified instructor for the 6A Character Education™ by the American McDowell Ministry, as well as for the 6A Character Education™ program by the Hong Kong Character Education Foundation. Additionally, she serves as a guest lecturer in the Department of Early Childhood Education at The Education University of Hong Kong, contributing to the professional development of early childhood educators.

Principal Kwan has received several awards, including the Outstanding Achievement Award in Early Childhood Education, the Outstanding Practicum Award, and the Dean’s Certificate from The Education University of Hong Kong. She has been honored with the ECE Part-Time Lecturer Teaching Award for eight consecutive years and received the Elizabeth Frankland Moore Award from the Hong Kong Sino-British Fellowship Trust Scholars’ Association. Furthermore, she actively participates the development of the industry, having been invited to serve as a member of the Institutional Partnership Committee at the Faculty of Education, University of Hong Kong, and as a member of the “Advisory Committee on Professional Development Programmes" in the Department of Early Childhood Education at The Education University of Hong Kong. She was elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the Central and Western District Principals’ Association (2024-2026) and as a consultant for the Tai Po Early Childhood Education Principals’ Association.

Additionally, Principal Kwan has participated in teaching exchanges in Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, Beijing, Shanghai, Anji, Taiwan, and Singapore to broaden her perspective and integrate early childhood education experiences to optimize the development of various school areas. She has also presented at numerous seminars across different fields and is the editor of the following books: 幼教新研6:「敢」問「感」學──課程設計與推行, 幼教新研8:學校.大自然.文化──課程設計與推行.
