I am thankful for the opportunity to be part of the English team in Kau Yan School. My aim is to motivate children in their learning. Motivation is an inborn characteristic of an individual, which guides one to learn, succeed and accomplish tasks. Teachers, as external motivators, take an important role to stimulate children who are yet to utilize their intrinsic motivation. We therefore take on a very important role on their learning path, as kindergarten teachers are one of the first persons they meet in the learning environment. I can’t wait to share my passion and the joy of learning with my students. I am looking forward to meeting everyone in this coming school year.
