若你樂意苦心追求及擁有學問，我慶幸曾是你身旁的一本活書
但儘管世間學問何等淵博精深，只有聖經能讓你認識永生活神
若你結合生活體驗於課本知識，我欣喜曾是你人生的一盞路燈
但在世間擁有智慧而失去盼望，猶如璀璨寶石埋於幽暗的山野
若你流露高尚品格和謙厚性情，我盼望你可看見我驕傲的微笑
但在刻意修飾的背後如沒有愛，那不過是討人讚賞的自私行為
若你甘願獻出身心來造福別人，我憧憬世上能有更美好的明天
但誰可拿眼前的安定美好生活，來換取永恆生命中一天的壽數
究竟何謂「優質教育」呢？有人認為是能滿足社會之需求，適應世界之變遷；有人認為能滿足學生個人興趣及需要，使之成為終身學習者。經過多個年頭，我都認同以上兩者之重要性，不過若其根基沒有植根在聖經上，這「優質教育」不能存到永恆，故此以神的話紮根，必定是神所喜悅，能存到永恆，更能教導少年人在這個世代中，成為「守規、愛學習的好學生；守法、貢獻社會的好市民；愛真理、愛神的天國公民。」我相信這就是有質量的「優質教育」。

還記得當年在教育學院面試的時候，老師問我為什麼要當老師?我說:當老師能夠教出一個好人，比起在社會上捉一個壞人更有意義。反觀今天香港的轉變及世界的動盪，我更要把這話持守。
過去的日子曾到外面工作，我更加肯定自己對教育的方向與堅持，我明白到能夠燃點學生的學習興趣，引發他們不斷學習，比起在考試分數上不斷的追求更加有實在。我很高興能夠再一次踏進救恩學校，亦感恩過往有神的帶領，期待與大家一起學習、一起成長。
作為一位老師，除了教授學生知識外，也要關心學生的身心成長和培養學生的良好品格。我喜歡與小孩子相處，願意接觸、關心和愛護他們，了解他們心中的煩惱，幫助他們解決困難及發揮個人的潛能。我願意肩負神給我的使命：「教養孩童，使他走當行的道，就是到老他也不偏離。」(箴言22：6)盼望學生能在我的教導下，能夠「愛學習」和「學習愛」。
我喜歡當老師，因為我遇到很多很多好老師。他們以最大的愛心和耐性教導我，讓我能領略學習的快樂，成為一個好人。我也來當老師了，希望我的孩子也可以在愛中成長，也喜歡學習，也能成為一個好孩子。
I was fortunate to come across many great teachers in my life who influenced me positively in terms of not only knowledge, but most importantly, my character and value system. This motivated me to become a teacher so that I can help to shape the pure and innocent kids in the same way. I am grateful to be part of Kau Yan School, working with a group of teachers who are fully dedicated to education with love and passion and teaching a group of students who love learning from the bottom of their hearts.
在基督教學校當老師，深深體會到滲透在校園每個角落裏無條件的愛。看着學生成長、學會感恩、懂得關心別人，每一次都覺得自己能成為一位老師，實在太幸福了！
當老師如同寫詩，有喜、有怒、有美、有惡……最後留下的卻總是温柔和暖意，好一趟浪漫的旅程！不知這首詩會印下誰的足跡呢？嗚一一救恩號，啟程了！
感謝天父讓我有機會在救恩學校成為一位老師。
盼在未來的日子，除了教導孩子學習知識外，還能以聖經的真理教養孩童，使他們走當行的道。
感謝天父引領我來到救恩學校。這裡不僅是一所學校，更是一個充滿主愛的地方。作為老師，我盼望能使每一個孩童都愉快地學習，並能各展所長。
耶穌說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來」(馬太福音19:14)。我盼望在與孩童相處時，除了傳授知識給他們，更讓他們認識神的大愛，使主耶穌成為他們一生最大的祝福。
I have always dreamed of teaching in a school that is characterized by a strong Christian community, where students not only learn academically, but also grow spiritually.
I thank God for leading me to this school and giving me the opportunity to work with highly dedicated teachers who are willing to provide the best possible to all students.
Although academic results are still important, it is my prayer that students will learn to love God, love their neighbors, and find their visions in God in this school.
感恩能加入救恩學校這個充滿愛和活力大家庭。
我相信每個孩子都喜歡學習，在救恩家庭裏，我希望能讓學生愉快地學習，並且學會學習。我盼望能陪伴孩子的成長，分享喜悅，讓我們一同學習愛人。
生命很複雜，也很簡單。複雜是你永遠猜不透路的前面是甚麼；簡單是每個人都必然會面對生老病死、喜怒哀樂、高低起伏。所幸的是，在生命這份考卷前，老師和學生可以手拉手一起學習、一起面對、一起跨越。願我們可以一起努力，也願大家最終都能擷取豐碩的成果。
感謝上帝的帶領，讓我可以加入救恩這個充滿愛的大家庭，使我可以繼續實踐基督的愛，以「生命影響生命」去教導及牧養我的學生。「教養孩童，使他走當行的道，就是到老他也不偏離。」(箴言22章6節)
盼望除了能將知識和真理教導學生外，更讓他們在我身上看見基督愛的樣式，從而學習彼此相愛，成為一個愛神愛人的基督精兵！
感謝上帝的安排，讓我有幸可以加入救恩，成為救恩的一份子，與同工們一起教育孩童。
回想當初希望成為老師的原因，大概是因為生命中遇上過不少好老師，在生命的不同階段給予我鼓勵和指導、與我同行，漸漸地把他們當作自己的榜樣和目標，並踏上當老師的路。
盼望在救恩，一個充滿主愛的群體當中，我能繼續以基督的樣式作為榜樣，去關愛孩童，成為他們成長中的同行者，一起在主愛中成長！
教育是什麼？
我相信教育是人影響人，生命影響生命的工作，
我們老師每天努力多一點，學生的生命就有可能有多一點的改變！
盼望福音的種子能夠種在孩子的心田中，讓孩子的一生都得到主的祝福！
教育的藝術我視之為是一躺學習與思考的旅程。在旅途上盼望能開啟學生的心靈，引領學生去發現真理、發揮潛能、並發展創意思維去解決問題。感恩能夠在一個環繞主愛的大家庭中工作，共以基督的關愛精神去引領學生走當行的路。
感恩能在救恩學校裡服待，希望能發揮所長，以正能量感染每一位學生，與他們一同經歷和成長；同時與學生、家長和同事建立良好的溝通和關係，在基督裡實踐主的大愛。
Teaching is sharing. I believe that teaching is not just about transferring academic knowledge to students, but also about imparting positive values.
My motto is “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.” Through my teaching at KYS, I hope students can feel God’s love and be loving and happy children.
教育就是在學生成長中陪伴左右，幫助他們建立自信、發掘潛能，勉勵其迎難而上，培養正確的價值觀，讓他們能更好地為人生掌舵。承蒙神厚愛，有幸委身於救恩這個充滿愛與關懷的大家庭。願我能把教學熱誠化作養分，讓一朵朵蓓蕾茁壯成長，共同分享主愛的恩典！
有句話説得好：
“When you get what you want, that’s God’s direction. When you don’t get what you want, that’s God’s protection.”
人生旅途上，不論遇到得或失，也要常存感恩的心，相信一切自有安排。
每個人一生的際遇總是難以預測，起初我亦意想不到自己會從一個學生，移步到教育的崗位，換個身份回到救恩這個大家庭。闊別十年，我感恩可以將從前在這得到的，無論是知識，價值觀，老師們的支持，還是神的恩典帶給孩子們。我認同作爲教育者必須帶有使命感，但亦不應强求點燃生命，因爲決定自己的方向應該是學生自身的責任和權利。而我更希望能作一個陪伴者的角色，跟大家一同引導學生成爲他們想成爲的人，讓學生有燃亮自己生命的能力和智慧。
I grew up near New York City. I had never imagined leaving home, but when my wife and I first arrived to Hong Kong in 2005, I felt like it was the start of a new adventure. Living far from home, family, friends and familiar comforts is never easy. When I talk to my mom, she tells me to keep faith in God and to always look at the stars. The stars that I see in the sky are the same ones that she can see back home. This way, she says, we are always together, connected in faith, hope and love.
Every day has its challenges, disappointments and rewards. As a teacher, I tell students that life is tough, so one must strive to be tougher. And the best way to become tougher, I believe, is to lead a life of love. Love for yourself. Love for others. Love for life. When your heart is filled with love, all things are possible. Such ideas are easier to write and say, than to do every day. That’s the key, to put love into action to make our lives and the world a little bit better.
教育是由「心」出發的，耐「心」地了解孩子在成長道路上不同的需要；悉「心」地因著孩子獨有的個性和特質來準備合適的教學活動和材料；虛「心」地與孩子共同學習新事物和新知識，從而讓我們的孩子愉快地學習和成長，成為善良而樂觀的小天使。
感謝天父讓我加入救恩學校，不單單是作為老師的身份去傳授知識，更是作為同行者和指導者，以生命影響生命。透過活出基督的愛和樣式，感染每一個接觸到的生命。陪伴學生經歷高低起跌，並在這段人生旅途上，見證他們一個又一個突破自己的動人時刻。盼望孩子們經歷天父的愛，並以此為他們生命的支柱。
如果上主是生命的弓箭手，那麼孩子們就是箭矢，而作為老師的我，則願成為上主手中一把穩健的弓，無懼用力彎曲一己之軀，只盼能幫助每一個學生迅捷遠飛，飛往上主想你們到達的高遠之處，成就祂美善的旨意。
感恩加入教恩這個大家庭，希望在這個充滿愛與包容的環境中，與孩童同行，讓孩童繼續保持純真善良的心，成為一個擁有同理心，同時懂得明辨是非的社會未來主人翁。教育二字，除了教導知識外，培育孩子身心靈發展更為重要。教育工作任重而道遠，盼望在將來的日子能陪伴孩子一同經歷，一同成長，活出豐盛生命。
Expectation about schooling: acquiring knowledge comes second, growing up comes first. In school, nobody only listens, everybody teaches one another something in different ways.
As a teacher, I believe one size doesn’t fit all, and we are all life-long learners. I respect the uniqueness in each of us. Regardless of our title, we share our thoughts, get insights in daily life and strive to become a better person, together with our students.
Here I would like to share my favourite bible scripture from 1 Timothy 4:12 – Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. May God shower his peace and blessing upon us.
God has plans, not to harm, but to prosper us. Kau Yan School personifies this value for, not only for the teachers and staffs, but also the student alike. I feel blessed to be a part of the teaching body that I am able to propound knowledge to students, and equally important be able to expound God’s love and see them grow as a person.
感恩加入救恩這個充滿愛與關懷的大家庭，作為老師，我相信教育是為每位學生創造最大的可能。盼望在未來的日子裡，可以成為學生的同行者，培養他們建立良好品德和正面的價值觀，好好栽培學生，讓每一位孩子都能愉快學習，並在這個充滿關愛的環境裡茁壯成長。
Education should empower children to become happy and self-assured individuals.
I am truly grateful that God’s guidance has led me to join the Kau Yan family. I firmly believe that every child possesses boundless and immeasurable potential. As long as we can foster an environment where students learn joyfully, they will use their limitless curiosity to spread their wings and soar in the vast expanse of knowledge.
I hope to embark on this journey of growth alongside each cherished student, united in our experience of God’s love.
能夠加入救恩學校，成為當中的一份子，心裡雀躍萬分。
猶記得多年前，終於完成了環遊地球一圈的夢想，期間，獲益良多，讓我體會最深的，就是要多作嘗試。 旅途中，定必會遇到不同的事、產生不同的想法。許多時候，我們會因為害怕失敗，不敢嘗試新的事物，於是往往錯過了很多有趣的遇見。經過多次嘗試，有時會成功，有時會失敗。成功固然開心，但即使失敗，心亦無悔。
十分歡迎各位同學和我分享你們的各種經歷。有幾句話，很想送給大家：
有一種態度，相信自己；
有一種精神，持之以恒；
有一種信念，永不言棄。
能夠成為救恩學校大家庭的一份子，我心中充滿感恩。
很多人都喜歡和孩子相處，因為他們具有一顆對世界好奇、對人們真誠、對自己誠實的心。那麼，如何能讓孩子們在成長的過程中保存這些美好的特質呢？那就是老師在教育上要做到的事。除了傳授知識，讓孩子們認識世界、關愛世界；懂得與別人互動、與自己溝通，也是我期望可以做到的事。
願每位孩子能在學習和成長的過程中，滿有平安、喜樂，也在此祝福大家能有像孩子一樣純潔的心，愛人、愛己、愛世界。

「生命影響生命，生命建立生命」是天父放在我心中的一句說話。感恩天父讓我有機會加入教恩這個大家庭，有機會以教員身份實踐這說話。希望能以此身份傳遞知識以外，也可以用自己的生命與學生同行，一起感受天父的愛，一起尋找天父的踪跡，一起發掘天父給我們的恩賜，引導他們在生命的長跑中，與神同行。

這裡是一個滿有愛和恩典的地方，兒童工作是一份很需要責任感的工作，同時亦是一份蒙福的工作。生命的培育是需要愛，盼望在未來日子能夠陪伴他們、與大家一同成長。
「我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裡面的，我也常在他裡面。」(約翰福音 15:5上)
